Probably the longest work we’ve ever done, still running since 2012. The briefing: a no budget campaign inviting walking-sightseeing tourism in Sao Paulo. The first challenge was to create a circuit where tourists could see as many historical places and famous neighborhoods as possible, mostly in downtown SP. Then, it came the production issue, there was no way to change the traffic light bulb as we wanted, the usual pedestrian icon was designed by led lamps, and it created a blur when covered with another design. After almost giving up, we came up with an idea to use non-flammable silk paper, its use gave us the ability to diffuse the light, allowing us to work with any design we wanted. And now, after 7 years:
These Lights Became Touristic Sights Themselves.
